Build 64 Patch Notes: The Resurgence Phase 4, Lv.280 Cap, Grid Lock, and PvP Evasion Rebalance

Hello Legends,

Build 64 is now live, and this update marks an important milestone for Ran Community as we enter The Resurgence: Phase 4.

This patch focuses on smoother progression, better item organization, improved PvP stat value, summer event preparation, and several important class updates. The biggest highlights include the new Lv.280 level cap, the Grid Lock system, the arrival of Ousted Sheep, updated Tyranny Wars schedules, improved boss status tooltips, and the first major step of our Evasion rebalance.

Lv.280 Is Now the New Level Cap

The maximum level cap has been increased to Lv.280.

We previously announced plans to increase the level cap up to Lv.285, but we decided to hold that back for now while we continue reviewing the next progression phase.

This decision is intentional. We do not want to rush progression just for the sake of raising numbers. Every level cap increase affects farming, gear value, PvP balance, class performance, and the overall economy.

For now, Lv.280 will serve as the next stable progression step while we continue preparing future Lv.285 systems properly.

This helps us:

  • Protect long-term item value
  • Avoid rushed balance decisions
  • Give players a cleaner progression path
  • Prepare future systems with better testing
  • Support both new and existing players more responsibly

Happy leveling, Legends. The next stage starts here.

New Event NPC: Ousted Sheep

A new Event NPC has been added: Ousted Sheep.

This NPC is part of our upcoming summer event preparation and will play an important role in the next seasonal activity.

Ousted Sheep may look funny, but do not underestimate him. He was kicked out of the flock, and now he is running his own exchange shop.

That is character development.

More summer event details will be shared separately, but Build 64 already prepares the foundation for the event rollout.

Grid Lock System Has Been Added

Build 64 introduces the new Grid Lock system.

This feature allows players to lock an item into any available inventory slot position. It is designed to help players organize important items and prevent accidental movement inside the inventory.

Grid Locker cards are now available in the Point Store:

  • 7 Days: 6 Kreds
  • 21 Days: 18 Kreds
  • 30 Days: 25 Kreds

The in-game Help pages have also been updated with Grid Locker usage instructions.

This may look like a small quality-of-life system, but it matters. Better inventory control means cleaner item management, fewer accidental movements, and less frustration for active players.

Normal Buff Skill Slots Increased

The normal buff skill slot limit has been increased from 14 to 21.

This gives players more room to manage buffs properly, especially as more class interactions, party buffs, event buffs, and utility effects become part of the game.

This update should make active gameplay smoother without forcing players to constantly fight against buff slot limitations.

Tyranny Wars Schedule Updated

The daily Tyranny Wars schedule has been updated.

New daily schedule in Philippine Time:

  • 11:00 AM
  • 5:00 PM
  • 10:00 PM
  • 3:00 AM

The 10:00 PM schedule was adjusted so it lines up better after Club War.

The in-game Help pages have also been updated to reflect the new Tyranny Wars schedule.

This change is part of our ongoing effort to improve event timing and make major PvP activities easier to follow for the community.

Boss Map Tooltips Now Show Live Boss Status

Boss map tooltips now show live boss status with the killer name and an accurate remaining respawn timer.

This gives players clearer information when checking boss maps and reduces unnecessary guessing.

Boss hunting continues to become more important for progression, materials, and long-term gear acquisition, so clearer boss tracking is a necessary improvement.

NPC Exchange Success Message Improved

Successful NPC exchange purchases now display in green instead of red.

This is a small visual change, but it makes the exchange result easier to understand. Successful actions should feel successful, not like an error warning.

Dash and Blink Follow-Up Skills Improved

Dash and blink-style movement skills can now chain follow-up skills earlier.

This should make movement-based combat feel smoother and more responsive, especially for classes that rely on quick skill transitions, positioning, and follow-up pressure.

Fish Bowlhat Added to the Point Store

The Fish Bowlhat has been added to the Point Store.

Available durations:

  • 3 Days: 9 Kreds
  • 7 Days: 19 Kreds
  • 15 Days: 39 Kreds
  • 30 Days: 69 Kreds

Because sometimes, the battlefield needs serious warriors wearing unserious hats.

PvP Evasion Has Been Rebalanced

Evasion has received an important PvP rebalance.

Each point of Evasion now contributes twice as much toward reducing incoming hit chance in player-versus-player combat.

Technical changes:

  • Evasion divisor changed from 16.67 to 8.0
  • Minimum hit chance remains 42%
  • Maximum hit chance remains 99%
  • Accuracy still directly counters Evasion
  • PvE monster accuracy is not affected

This means Evasion now matters more in PvP, but no one becomes unhittable.

Under the old setting, over 50% of possible endgame PvP matchups were already capped at the maximum 99% hit chance. That made Evasion too easy to ignore.

Before making this change, we reviewed actual equipped gear, passive skills, and stat distributions from the active Lv.260+ player population. Based on the new setting, a well-geared attacker versus a typical defender still lands around 93% to 95% hit chance, while high-Evasion builds now gain meaningful defensive value.

The 42% minimum hit chance floor was not triggered across the clean player population during review, which confirms that this is not an extreme change.

This is a conservative first step. We will continue watching feedback and actual PvP behavior closely.

The important point is simple:

If your opponent builds high Evasion, build HIT. Accuracy is still the counter.

Brawler Balance Update
Powerful Reflecting Barrier / Pearl of Regeneration

Brawler counter skills have been improved.

A successful counter now releases a close-range stun shockwave around the Brawler. The shockwave can hit up to 5 nearby enemies.

This gives Brawler counter play more value in group fights instead of only affecting the attacker who triggered the counter.

Important notes:

  • The original counter timing is unchanged
  • The base defensive effect is unchanged
  • No long-range pressure was added
  • No passive damage was added
  • The shockwave only activates after a successful counter
  • The effect stays melee-range

This rewards Brawlers who position properly in the middle of a fight and time their counters well.

Brawler should feel more useful in crowded PvP situations without becoming a free automatic threat.

Shaper Balance Update
Spirit Armor

Spirit Armor now protects nearby party members instead of only the caster.

Party coverage scales with skill level:

  • Early levels: up to 6 allies
  • Master level: up to 11 allies

The Shaper caster keeps the full anti-Provoke duration on self.

The Shaper caster also keeps the original Skill Delay decrease, but party recipients do not receive the Skill Delay decrease.

Nearby party members only receive anti-Provoke protection for the first half of Spirit Armor’s duration.

This update gives Shaper stronger team support value while keeping the strongest version of the buff reserved for the Shaper itself.

Spirit Armor now follows a party-support model similar to Sphere of Intentions, rewarding Shapers who position with their team instead of playing only for themselves.

No new protection type was added. The same protection Shaper already had now extends to nearby allies in a controlled way.

Swordsman Balance Update
Defence Stance

Defence Stance duration has been increased.

New scaling:

  • Lv1: 3.0 seconds
  • Master Level: 4.5 seconds

This gives Swordsman a slightly better defensive window without turning the skill into an overly long safety button.

The goal is to improve reliability while keeping timing and decision-making important.

Client Installer and Launcher Update

The client installer has been updated to Build 63, and launcher connectivity has been improved.

This should help improve the installation and update experience for players, especially new or returning Legends preparing to join the latest build.

Final Notes

Build 64 is a large patch, but its purpose is clear.

This update is about stabilizing the next stage of Ran Community.

The Resurgence has rebuilt combat piece by piece. Now, with Phase 4, we are preparing the server for better progression, clearer systems, more meaningful PvP stats, smoother quality-of-life features, and the next wave of event content.

As always, we will continue watching feedback, logs, PvP behavior, progression speed, and economy impact after this patch.

Thank you for continuing to support Ran Community.

See you in-game, Legends.
