How to Fix “CreateProcess Failed; Code 740” Error in Ran Community

If you see this error message when launching the game client:

Unable to execute file: Ran Community Client\Launcher.exe
CreateProcess failed; code 740.
The requested operation requires elevation.

It simply means Windows is blocking the launcher because it needs administrator permission.

✅ Quick Fix: Run as Administrator

1. Right-click on Launcher.exe (or the game shortcut).
2. Choose Run as administrator.
3. Confirm the Windows prompt. The game should now start normally.

🛠 Permanent Fix (Always Run as Admin)

1. Go to your game installation folder:
   C:\Program Files (x86)\Ran Community Client\
2. Right-click Launcher.exe → select Properties.
3. Go to the Compatibility tab.
4. Check Run this program as an administrator.
5. Click Apply → OK.

Now the launcher will always start with the proper permissions.
