At Ran Community, we aim to keep combat fair, competitive, and enjoyable without pushing players toward unhealthy or abusive playstyles.
Over time, we observed that many third-party auto-potion macros behave in a spam-like manner. Even when a character does not actually need healing or recovery, these tools continuously send client-to-server requests. When multiplied across many players, this unnecessary traffic can affect overall server performance and stability.
From a technical standpoint, this kind of behavior is easy for us to detect and log. However, Ran Community has never been about aggressive or blanket banning. We believe that good balance and smart system design are better long-term solutions than heavy-handed enforcement.
That belief led to the creation of Happiness of Auto Potions.
This buff is a temporary, non-destructive quality-of-life feature that allows potions to activate automatically in a clean, controlled, and server-friendly way. It follows the same logic as the built-in Pet Auto Potion system, triggering only when recovery is actually needed. No excessive requests, no spam, and no unfair advantage.
Because this system is designed for real combat scenarios, especially during events and Club Wars, players are encouraged to use war-grade potions to get the most out of the buff.
Most importantly, this buff fully respects game mechanics and counterplay. If your character is affected by an Anti-Potion debuff, automatic potion usage will not activate. Timing, debuffs, and skill execution still matter.
In short, our approach is simple:
- We can detect and log abusive automation
- We choose balance over punishment
- We protect server performance
- We preserve fair PvP and meaningful counterplay
- And we provide quality-of-life improvements that benefit everyone
That balance between fairness, performance, and player respect is what defines Ran Community.
